A modern 60-70cc mid wing plane will fly differently--much more precise and aggressive for aerobatics and 3D. I currently have a 3dhs slick 89. Super good flying characteristics. I fly some 3D, but certainly not hardcore 3D. I don't see myself doing that anytime soon either. Maybe is a slick 89 overkill for me also. Stunning landings have always been the strong suit of the T-28 design. The Carbon-Z T-28 continues that legacy. This T-28 easily landed without flaps, but the rollout took up a lot of runway. I have two DA's60 and two EME60's and two RCGF60's that out run all of them by 150-200 rpm,with no issues at all. The Gp123 is 200 grams lighter than the Dle 130, So that is something to consider if going for a super light weight setup. I dont feel from what i have seen that the 130 will have any more power than the Gp, Especially as is got more weight on it. The 3w is a lot heavier.. 6.5 lbs or so.. The DA is lighter. 3W has WAY more torque , higher compression, and low end grunt than the DA.. The 3w 110 CS will out perform a DA120. 3w 110 classic is on par with the DA 120. The 3W runs a bit smoother.

The 4.2 is a 69cc engine to my knowlege. Here is my take. It was spinning a 26 inch prop to my recolection at low RPM's. I wouldnt use the engine for a 3D / IMAC machine as it will be underpowered even if you put it in a 50cc airframe. In a 50cc airframe expect it to be redic nose heavy.This 180 4-stroke = 2x stroke 30cc = 4x stroke 38cc. OS GF40 will be perfect 4x stroke gas engine match with a bit extra power. SAITO FG40 is also good one, but it is noticeably heavier compare to OS GF40. Yes, I already have a 4 stroke 1.80 and I am looking for warbirds airframes.The build quality looked excellent, the rods are beefy, so is the top end bearing. Pistons are well built and matched to the cylinders.
