Honestly, variety in crises in general would be great. It's annoying playing a game as a new empire expecting some of the same outcomes in mid-late game - Unbidden, Contingency, Scourge, maybe a random AI/Player crisis that's all just the same killer-dyson-sphere that is the Aetherophasic Engine (if you actually own said DLC).The first time I ever reached the end game crisis was pre-2.0. An awakened ascendency started subjugating my strongest rivals, then demanded I submit as well. I refused. Shortly after I refused, I got the message that the crisis is coming.
