This 1950 Ford 8N tractor was modified by the previous owner with a Ford flathead V8, which is linked with a four-speed manual transmission. The tractor was repainted in gray and red prior to its acquisition by the seller around a year ago, and additional features include a power take-off, a three-point hitch with a draw-bar, front radiator guard, body-colored wheels, and a dual exhaust system.
The old 8N with the flathead motor drew a lot of attention at Manitoba Ag Days. It all began when they were looking for a Funk Conversion (no relation to me) that replaces the 4 cylinder flathead for an 8N Ford with a V8. Since those conversions are rare, they eventually decided to manufacture and sell their own version. From there they decided to manufacture a Mini kit as well.

That ran from 1953 to 1955 when the X00 series were introduced. Only the 1953 is a Golden Jubilee denoting the 50 year anniversary of the Ford Motor Company. 54/55 are just Jubilee.
