Tastytrade has very high exchange fees. They pass through their exchange fees and charge around 14.5 cents per option contract. That's about 6x - 7x more than I pay with Etrade (E*trade). Tastytrade charges a maximum of $10 per leg, but there's an additional ~14.5 cents per contract in exchange fees.Regarding fees, Tastytrade offers the lowest commission for options traders, which is capped at $20 to open the trade and free to close the trade. And, no, Robinhood and other ‘free’ brokers are not cheaper because they rob you through inferior PFOF order fills. As such, I highly recommend Tastytrade.
