Is there a way i can get it back? You don't get the bow when you present the talisman, you get a quest that eventually gets you the bow after you talk to the statue a second time. If you had your talisman when you talked to the statue, you weren't yet on the quest. Yeah, i wasn't on the quest, just helped a friend out.
