Seeing a moose in the wild is rare, terrifying, and magical. They're humongous beasts of ridiculous majesty. In COTW they're basically another form of bush. If it is the lake/mission I am thinking of, the lake a bit northwest of Cheelah Lake/west of the outpost, I had a good whitetail stand along the southern edge from 9-12ish. There are probably whitetail drinking need zones (12-15ish) in the area as well but I haven't found any.
