Quit and find better employment. Freightliners always seem to be f****** around with the driver's comfort level with their perimeters for fuel efficiency.

I think this is part of the recent multiplayer performance boost update. Having a few hundred turrets always moving will cause some lag, so making them not move (at least visually) will help performance out some, especially when there are 20 people with their own large ships in a server simultaneously. #1.

Series 60 can be programmed several ways on the 'idle shutdown. First of all of course it can be turned off. Then there is the shutdown like you said programmable from 2 minutes to a total of 99. Next is the idle shutdown set and a 'disable feature' allowed. This is set via either the scan tool or a laptop.
