Most decidedly NOT.There are aftermarket lightweight crank pulleys which retain the same diameter as the OEM pulley but weigh a lot less. According to other people who've used these things, they do make a bit of a difference, probably no more than a few horses however. NST has a lightweight pulley set for the 1MZ for the crank, water pump or both pulleys.
