Finally went to see the 70mm IMAX version of Oppenheimer at the Regal Opry Mills in Nashville today. It was an amazing visual experience (although as some have noted about this film in general, the dialogue is sometimes hard to make out).

Thank you for being the first person to explain why they're making IMAX 70mm prints of Dune Part 2. I assumed that 70mm was a one-off for Oppenheimer and all IMAX theaters normally run digital projection or laser. Now I know that 70mm allows theaters to project it in 1.43:01 ratio when dual laser is not supported.
