Hey y’all, Greetings from SC, my daughter called me to say her 06/13 Kia Soul w/1.6 I use to be a Gm tech but not a whole lot of experience with Kia’s. So I went cleared the codes, on start up it’s a very rough idle and struggles to stay running. Instantaneously codes for o2 bank 1 sensor 1 and random misfire codes as well.It could just be compensating. Problem is if my AC is on (Its Florida and I am big, I like my Air con) and I press the clutch in at idle, revs rise but there is a subtle hum you can hear from the drivers side engine area. Not deafening, but definitely odd. Let off clutch in neutral and revs drop to the normal 500/600 mark and hum disappears.
