Actually, bleach is used as an emergency water treatment. Granted, its like, 1 capfull of bleach per gallon of water, but most bleach bottles are also gallon jugs. The leftover remnants of bleach after you pour it out would disinfect any tainted water you put in, provided you fill the jug and the water was still clear and not mucky.
I placed a wooden Pillar by accident and there does not seem to be any way to desconstruct / cut down / remove it in any way.. actually same for the rest of the wall i have built, you can remove the log walls if you misplace them, but you cant deconstruct the others?? You can plumb it from more than one level, there just has to no flooring between them. Barrel has to be the floor above and 1 tile offset.
Not side by side, they have to be offset one tile from the sink. I usually put one in front of and one behind the sink, one level up. Putting them to the left and right of the sink works also and hooking up four barrels to one sink should work, although I have never done this myself.
Sunlight will be needed in PZ42 and onwards, so glass roofs will be a thing. Not building roof will lead that furrows will reach 100u of water and some plants might start drowning. This partially is mitigated in this mod with (now default on) smart pipes as they will allow excess water to be removed over time.

Today I tell you how you can get a pretty much endless supply of water in Project Zomboid so you never go thirsty again.It does work in the 3x3 zone directly above the sink. The cell directly above it, and all cells adjacent to that (corners included). You can't plumb items more than 1 floor above the sink (like if the room you were in was two floors tall, and you put the rain barrel on the 2nd floor roof).Wash clothing: You can use tainted water or regular water it doesn't matter which and it doesn't matter where it came from (Rain barrel, puddle on the ground, river, etc.). If you have soap on you it makes washing clothing faster. If you do not have soap on you, you can still wash your clothing it just takes longer.Hope this helps anyone out who was looking for a nice spot to build a base.
